What is Unclaimed Property?
Each year, millions of dollars in bank accounts, stock certificates, checks, insurance checks, bonds and dividends are turned over to the State of Utah because the owners cannot be located. Some of this money could belong to you!
It may take only a couple minutes of your time to see if you or a family member is listed. It's easy, it's free and it's yours.

7/29/13 feedback... "Love the changes to the website. I go to this website often. Many of my relatives have found money owed to them. I see the changes made to the website about amount and source of the money! Great changes!!!!!"
7/17/13 feedback... "A friend mentioned the website to me so I thought I would check it out. Turned out I had unclaimed property. The lady I spoke with was very nice and helpful, she answered all of my questions. I used the money to take my kids on vacation to see their grandpa in Missouri!"
7/9/13 feedback... "Even though it had been more than 10 years since my mother passed away the process to claim this money was made very easy by the helpful people at the UUPD. The representative listened to my information and gave me the options that I had to claim this money. He told me exactly what I and my siblings needed to do. It was easy and took very little time to comply with these requests. My siblings and I are going to use the money to do a little fix up on a small peice of property we own together."
7/8/13 feedback... "Some 4-5 years ago I had family members and friends call to tell me that my name was in the newspapper for some unclaimed property. When I checked into it I was told that I had to fill out a form and have it notarized just to find out what it was. I let it go for a couple of years as I didn't want to go through the hassle of a notary. And quite frankly I didn't think it would be worth the hassle. But having just recently been unemployed, I thought what the heck, so I filled out the form that was on the website and sent it in. I was expecting a letter telling me what it was and how to get it but instead I received a check. This was great as my air conditioner had just quit working and I didn't know how I was going to pay for the repair. The check paid for most of it. I have no idea where the money came from and it would be nice to know. But I am glad that it was there and that it didn't have a time limit to claim. Thank you."
7/7/13 feedback... "55$ paycheck from over 10 years ago that was the last thing i ever expected showed in the mail as unclaimed. so i followed up and it was real and i got my money from 1996. thats a tank of gas for something completely forgotten about for so many years."
